The ShadO GPS tracking unit uses SIM technology to update your movement to the Intellibureau website where it will be available to anyone with access to your login details. It will store all your movement (workouts) for 5 years with the help of Google Maps and street mapping software. Because the unit is SIM based you will be able to make an emergency call to a preprogrammed phone number and receive incoming calls. This means that you don’t have to take your cellphone with on your outrides. The unit will also be able to speak for you when you can’t. Should you be in an accident the emergency button can be pressed, thereby putting bystanders in immediate contact with your loved ones. You can also program the unit to automatically notify members of your family should you become stationary during an outride for longer than a predetermined period of time (via sms) as well as notifying them when you reach your destination or leave from a predetermined location.
